Job Description

Ferrellgas is looking for an individual that is responsible for analyzing data in multiple databases. Data points collected will be used in department reporting and processing. Position will require extensive research and communication with field location, as well as, other corporate departments. Typically requires a high school diploma and some college accounting or accounting experience.

Essential Functions:
• Collects data to be used in analysis of tank movements.
• Assist with property sub-ledger verifications each fiscal year.
• Reconciles quantity of tanks in non-gas inventory.
• Extensive Excel experience to analyze data in that format, build reporting, and databases as needed.
• Runs queries in multiple environments and provide property information to the field and other departments.
• Develops, researches, and analyzes ad hoc reporting information from a variety of sources and assists with data understanding.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six hours college accounting or two years accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or other accounting systems a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility:
• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
