Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Production, this position participates in production operations in a team based environment on assigned shift to ensure quality, and safe and efficient, refilling, revalving, requalifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs Washer functions which includes placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
  • Dispatches cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
  • Completes Paint Line operations which includes loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
  • Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
  • Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
  • Performs cylinder refurb operations based on work station.
  • Stacking finished product.
  • Follows OSHA standards and Company safety rules and policies at all times.
  • Maintains supplies, equipment, and uniforms issued by the Company and ensures the workplace remains clean, neat, and organized at all times.
  • Performs assigned duties in all types of weather.
  • Communicates escalated issues with Supervisor.
  • Maintains accurate time card and paperwork as required.
  • Checks for quality assurance.
Experience:
  • 0-1 years' experience required
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental standards.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
