Job Summary:

This position is responsible for all facets of the recruiting life cycle including, but not limited to planning, sourcing, attraction, assessment, selection, close/negotiation activities and orientation. The Driver Recruiter role serves as a subject matter expert in staffing-related issues and partners with hiring managers to ensure high quality candidates. The incumbent is responsible for effective communications to all stakeholders, as well as facilitating an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire process. This position requires an ability to consistently deliver hiring results to ensure business demands are met. This position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of full life cycle driver recruiting experience.

Essential Functions:

• Proactively develops channels of new CDL-A and B driver candidates
• Completes interviews and screening via telephone or in-person
• Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs
• Maintains all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system
• Participates in recruitment related projects including, but not limited to new technology implementation, diversity and specific project recruitment efforts, vendor management, etc.
• Occasionally travels to recruiting events.
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to ensure availability to candidates

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related field preferred
• 2-4 years' experience in driver recruiting
• Must be familiar with DOT regulations
• Basic knowledge of transportation industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to tolerate ambiguity, handle multiple priorities and identify creative solutions to problems
• Ability to excel in a results only work environment
• Demonstrated experience with employment laws, regulations, etc.
• PeopleSoft experience preferred
