Ferrellgas, headquartered in Liberty, MO, is searching for a Corporate Recruiter to join our local team. This position will assist hiring managers with sourcing, screening and onboarding candidates for various positions, both at our Corporate offices and in locations across the country.
The Recruiter drives recruiting activities at the strategic and transactional levels and develops relationships with hiring managers to determine short-term and long-term recruiting plans. In this role, the Recruiter will be a point person for candidates and managers and is responsible for building internal and external relationships. Consistently providing excellent customer service to both candidates and hiring managers is essential!

Essential Functions:
  • Sources, screens, interviews and assesses candidates, and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Acts as the liaison between the candidate and hiring managers throughout the selection and onboarding process.
  • Engages with leaders and hiring managers to define requirements, develops sourcing strategies and provides guidance throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of company management to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs.
  • Drives and manages the candidate experience throughout the selection process including offer negotiation and new hire onboarding.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR Management or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience with talent acquisition and recruitment required.
  • Experience recruiting drivers preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to consult with managers about talent needs; designs and executes recruitment strategies around those needs.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and peers within the organization both within and across geographic markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates experience with employment laws, regulations, etc., including EEO/AAP, etc.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or an equivalent Application Tracking System
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully handle overlapping deadlines.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on new social media and communication technologies and strategies.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
