Job Summary: Under direct supervision, the Account Manager position is the leader in driving new profitable business, creates business relationships that build customer loyalty and maintains customer base of the Service Center. This sales position requires a broad knowledge of the organization's policies, products and/or services. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and 1-2 years' sales experience.
Essential Functions:
  • Identifies sales leads and qualifies prospects.
  • Makes value based sales presentation to prospective customers.
  • Maintains key customer relationships.
  • Builds and maintains customer files; power point presentations and follow up letters.
  • Monitors the new customer installation process.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Works with service center to drive growth in all business segments including retail, Autogas, and Blue Rhino.
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of new prospects, closed business and installed business to meet objectives.
  • Works with the DO to develop marketing plans and strategies for growth.
  • Communicates new customer expectations and follow through on commitments.
  • Responsible for meeting sales GMD annual goal.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 1-2 years' sales experience.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass background check and have clean driving record.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • SFA - Sales Force Automation Software experience preferred.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Self-starter and team focused.
  • PeopleSoft experience preferred.
  • Proven sales background of achieving sales goals preferred.
